In the 1880s, his great grandfather, Antimoz Chkhaidze, cultivated local Georgian grape varieties in Guria and made wine, which was recognized abroad too. In 1998, Jimsher Chkhaidze, together with his brothers, founded the company &#8220;Askaneli Brothers&#8221;, which is one of the main players in the Georgian alcoholic beverage market and a successful brand.<\/p>\n<p>Jimsher Chkhaidze-Askaneli founded the company &#8220;Kartveli&#8221; in 2015. It is a hub that combines several successful brands produced in accordance with the centuries-old traditions of winemaking in Georgia: &#8220;Kartveli&#8221;, &#8220;Gvariani&#8221;, &#8220;Aragveli&#8221;, &#8220;Orbeliani&#8221; and the first Georgian whisky &#8220;Jimsher&#8221;.
