A Story that began in 1880

Businessman Jimsher Chkhaidze grew up in a family with a long tradition of winemaking. In the 1880s, his great grandfather, Antimoz Chkhaidze, cultivated local Georgian grape varieties in Guria and made wine, which was recognized abroad too. In 1998, Jimsher Chkhaidze, together with his brothers, founded the company “Askaneli Brothers”, which is one of the main players in the Georgian alcoholic beverage market and a successful brand.
