The First Georgian Whisky
Jimsher
The Georgian winemaker and businessman Jimsher Chkaidze, inspired by the cultural heritage, was looking for a way through which he could build a new history of whisky in the homeland of wine. About fifteen years ago Jimsher Chkhaidze began to think about Georgian whisky. He went to Scotland to get acquainted with the way of production. Finally, in 2017 we bottled The First Georgian Whisky JIMSHER.
The highest quality whisky made with the best traditions goes through casks, in which the wines “Saperavi”, “Tsinandali” and “Traditional Georgian Brandy” were stored before. As a result of this method, we have received a special, unique flavor and a taste that allows you to rediscover the whisky with Georgian accents. The water used for our mash and whisky dilution comes from natural sources in the Caucasus Mountains. Whisky stock has now reached at least 5 years of age and continues to mature in specially selected casks.
